Porcelain façade finishes
Shackerley SureClad® porcelain stone facade panels are available in a choice of surface finishes, depending on the porcelain stone rainscreen range selected. The choice of porcelain stone cladding panel finish can have a dramatic impact on the aesthetic appearance of a building’s façade, particularly in terms of its reflectivity.
Natural finish porcelain stone façade panels
Porcelain cladding panels supplied in a natural smooth (Op), or a textured (Strut) finish.
Porcelain façade panels with a semi-lustre finish
A patented pre-polishing process is used before the slabs of porcelain stone cladding material are fired, providing a semi-lustre (Prel) finish, revealing veining within the porcelain stone rainscreen material.
Satin finish porcelain stone façade panels
The surface of the porcelain stone cladding material is abraded with diamond-coated grinding equipment to achieve a satin/low gloss (‘honed’) porcelain stone façade panel finish.
Porcelain façade panels with a polished finish
The porcelain stone façade material is abraded with diamond-coated grinding equipment to create a brilliant high gloss (Lev) porcelain stone façade panel finish.
Metallic finish porcelain stone façade panels
As part of the manufacturing process, the porcelain stone cladding panel is impregnated with special oxides and minerals which fuse together during firing to create a porcelain stone façade panel with a semi-lustre metallic (Met) finish.
