Shackerley appoints new Business Development Director

As part of our plan for sustainable, strategic growth, we have appointed Fraser Brown as our new Business Development Director. Business Development Director is a new post at Shackerley and reflects the high demand across our range of facade systems, including SureClad® porcelain stone, SureStone® and natural stone, and our BrickClad® ranges.

Fraser’s remit will be to lead our business development team of experienced architectural consultants and to provide a senior point of contact for our customers for all commercial, technical and operational matters.

He will also lead on the development and launch of a new system at Shackerley, which will be an industry first for the facades sector. This innovation will draw on our technical expertise, our ISO 9001 certified UK manufacturing capabilities, and our established industry partnerships.

Fraser joins us with an impressive track record in the built environment sector, including almost 20 years’ experience in the facades industry. Having worked in business development and leadership roles for both facade system manufacturers and contractors, Fraser brings extensive technical and commercial knowledge to his new role at Shackerley. His experience also includes facade engineer roles for tier 1 construction contractors, providing him with a full 360-degree understanding of the priorities and challenges at every stage of the delivery chain.

Fraser’s appointment as Business Development Director at Shackerley comes at a time when we are experiencing high demand for our facade systems as we continue to work with architects, facade engineers, main contractors and installers to provide fully prefabricated installation-ready facades. Our ISO 9001 certified factories in Lancashire enable us to offer a bespoke service for every project, supporting customers to achieve their design intent in the most cost-effective way possible, while ensuring the performance, compliance and aesthetics of the facade.
