Matwell
Frames & Suspended Reservoir Frames
Standard
Frames
Sentinel® Matwell Frame Kits are delivered
with exact mitred corners which are screwed together with strong
metal corner pieces. The frames are predrilled with counter sunk
holes to allow simple screw fixing on-site. Special screed anchor
clips are available to allow the assembled frame to be set insitu
within a screed. For wet or exposed flooring areas, we recommend
the use of our Type 24 stainless steel frame. |

Suspended
Reservoir Frames
Sentinel gap system matting can be
installed in both conventional matwells and
suspended reservoired matting systems.
When installed within a conventional frame,
the dirt will fall between the ribs and be
contained inside the matwell, thus ensuring
that subsequent visitors do not track the
trapped dirt across the matting and into
the building.
When installed over a suspended matwell
system, dirt will fall between the ribs and
be collected inside the reservoir. The system is ideal for areas
where unusually high levels of contamination are anticipated,
such as coastal/beach front areas. To collect the dirt contained
within the matwell, the matting is simply rolled up to allow cleaning.

The Ramp type framework negates the need for any major preparation.
The system allows location over any existing floor finish and causes
no delay or disruption to the normal usage during installation. |

Base of Matwell
The base of the Matwell, usually screed, should be perfectly flat.
Should there be any unevenness in the Matwell base, this must
be levelled out prior to installation of the mat. We recommend
self levelling compound for this purpose.
