At Shackerley, we pride ourselves on our pioneering approach and our ability to innovate. It's therefore extremely gratifying to have received two separate Queen's Awards for Enterprise in the Innovation category.

In 2002 we received royal recognition for Framelight, our ingenious system of assembling glass block partitions without the need for mortar, which helped to open up the UK DIY market for these beautiful building materials.

In 2007 our achievements in the architectural sector are in the spotlight. Our second Queen's Award is for the successful development of the Sureclad ventilated rainscreen system which allows buildings to be protected and transformed with ventilated monolithic facades made of ceramic granite.

We are all extremely proud to have received these two Queen's Awards for Enterprise and are particularly pleased that the spirit of innovation running through the company has been recognised in this way.
