Interbuild* gives Shackerley Holdings Group Limited an ideal platform to promote the latest technical and aesthetic developments to its Queen’s Award winning Sureclad range of ceramic granite ventilated rainscreen systems. (See us on Stand F145/G140 in Hall 5.)
Shackerley is one of the UK’s foremost authorities on the use of ceramic granite in rainscreen cladding applications. The company will demonstrate to architects, developers and contractors how Sureclad can be used to protect, transform and upgrade new developments and refurbished properties alike. The highly versatile Sureclad system earned Shackerley its second Queen’s award for Enterprise in the Innovation category earlier this year and is the most widely used ceramic granite ventilated rainscreen system in the UK.
Visitors will see from recent high profile projects how sleek and stunning monolithic rainscreen facades have been created across the country using Shackerley’s large format ceramic granite slabs. They will discover how this exceptional material, available in an unrivalled range of styles, colours, finishes and sizes, has proved to be an aesthetically pleasing and commercially attractive, high performance alternative to natural stone and other traditional cladding materials.
They will also discover the specific installation and maintenance benefits of the Sureclad system. Sureclad rainscreen façade panels do not have to be installed sequentially and are easily removed without disturbing others in the vicinity. This valuable feature provides very straightforward access to services behind the façade and also means that contractors can employ a range of access equipment to install the rainscreen if the use of traditional full scale scaffolding is problematic, for instance where space is restricted.
Shackerley will also be promoting its in-house prefabrication services. By having the company’s ceramic granite slabs and high grade aluminium carrier systems prefabricated off-site, contractors are able to fast track rainscreen installations and benefit from preparatory work being carried out in quality controlled factory conditions.
* Interbuild takes place at the NEC Birmingham from Sunday 28th October to Thursday 1st November – click on www.interbuild.com for further details of the show. |
