 Shackerley (Holdings) Group Limited, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of ceramic granite ventilated facade systems, has published its product information on the NBS system to enable architects and other specifiers to access pre-written technical clauses and preliminaries for inclusion in their specifications for cladding projects.
All NBS subscribers may now download specification data for Shackerley’s Queen’s Award winning Sureclad system which allows prefabricated ceramic granite slabs - in a comprehensive range of colours, designs, finishes and formats - to be used to create attractive and protective ventilated facades on new and refurbished buildings. Clauses for Shackerley’s single skin terracotta facade panels, similarly prefabricated for use with the Sureclad system, may also be downloaded.
Whilst the core business of the Lancashire manufacturer and distributor lies firmly in the ventilated facade market, Shackerley is also one of the country’s largest suppliers of glass blocks. Technical specification clauses for the company’s comprehensive range of ‘Design’ and ‘Technology’ blocks are also available on the NBS system for download by subscribers looking to incorporate these innovative building materials in interior and exterior design projects.
Other Shackerley products featured include a range of fully vitrified ceramic granite floor and wall tiles for use in heavily trafficked pedestrian areas, and the company’s hardwearing, slip resistant ‘All Weather’ tactile tiles, designed to alert the visually disabled to the presence of hazards.
