 Ceramic granite rainscreen specialist Shackerley has opened a new training and presentation centre at its Chorley headquarters where architects, specifiers and installation contractors are being invited to learn more about the company’s Queen’s Award winning Sureclad ventilated facade systems. The new suite of rooms will be used for familiarisation sessions, formal training and CPD presentations in addition to project planning meetings. Appropriately fitted with gleaming white large format ceramic granite cladding panels, mechanically fixed to a simplified Sureclad carrier system, the new facility showcases Shackerley’s core area of expertise and is a logical complement to its well used external ‘cladding demonstration wall’ and fully stocked customer showroom.
Anyone involved in specifying a Sureclad system, or tendering for a project incorporating Sureclad facades may arrange to visit the company’s head office to learn about the features and benefits of the different systems available.
Architects can view at close quarters the vast range of aesthetic effects achievable using ceramic granite panels of different colours, finishes, styles and formats. Installers keen to learn more about the system before commencing work on a project can receive installation familiarisation from Shackerley’s Technical team.
Visitors may also arrange to take a tour of Shackerley’s manufacturing facilities where bare large format ceramic granite (and terracotta) slabs are transformed into ‘installation ready’ rainscreen facade panels using specialist prefabrication processes.
